The Exam Hall Allocation and Seating Arrangement System is a web-based application developed to automate the process of managing examination seating arrangements in educational institutions. In many colleges, exam hall allocation and invigilator assignment are done manually, which is time-consuming and may lead to errors such as duplicate seat allocation, improper hall utilization, and difficulty in handling large student data. This project provides a digital solution by storing student details, hall information, and faculty details in a database and automatically generating seating arrangements based on hall capacity and predefined rules. The system also assigns invigilators to each hall and allows easy viewing of seating plans and student seat details through search functionality. Developed using Python, Flask, SQLite, HTML, and CSS, the system reduces manual work, improves accuracy, saves time, and ensures smooth and efficient examination management.
