Monitoring and Emergency Alert System for Visually Impaired is an intelligent mobility assistance solution designed to improve the safety, independence, and navigation experience of visually impaired individuals. Traditional walking aids provide limited support in obstacle detection, location tracking, and emergency communication. The proposed system integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and smart sensor technologies to offer real-time assistance and enhanced user safety. The system consists of obstacle detection, navigation assistance, GPS tracking, and emergency alert modules. Ultrasonic and infrared sensors are used to detect nearby obstacles, stairs, and road hazards, while AIbased processing helps analyze the surroundings and provide accurate voice or vibration feedback to the user. The IoTenabled monitoring system allows caregivers or family members to track the user’s live location during emergencies. In critical situations, the emergency alert feature automatically sends notifications and location details to registered contacts through a mobile or web-based platform. The AI-Enabled Smart Assistive Cane improves mobility, enhances user confidence, reduces accident risks, and ensures faster emergency response. The proposed solution offers a modern, affordable, and reliable assistive technology for supporting visually impaired individuals in their daily lives.
