Abstract

The Student ID Card Generator is a web-based application designed to simplify and automate the process of creating student identification cards. Traditional ID card preparation involves manual data entry, photo editing, formatting, and printing, which can be time-consuming and may result in errors. The proposed system provides a centralized platform where administrators can enter student details and generate professional ID cards quickly and efficiently. The system allows authorized users to enter information such as student name, student ID, course, department, year, date of birth, contact details, blood group, and profile photo. The entered information is stored in a database and automatically arranged according to a predefined ID card template. The application can generate a digital ID card containing the student's photograph, institutional details, unique identification number, and other required information. The system can provide features such as student record management, photo upload, ID card preview, automatic ID card generation, editing, downloading, printing, and QR-code integration. Administrators can create and manage multiple student records and generate cards individually or in batches. Validation mechanisms help reduce incorrect or incomplete information during data entry.
