Abstract

The Learning Management System (LMS) / Online Learning System is a web-based application designed to provide an efficient and flexible platform for delivering, managing, and accessing educational content online. Traditional learning methods often require students and teachers to be physically present in classrooms, which can limit accessibility and make it difficult to manage learning materials and academic activities. The proposed system provides a centralized digital platform where students and instructors can interact and manage learning activities. The system allows students to register, log in, enroll in courses, access study materials, watch video lectures, download resources, complete assignments, and attend online quizzes. Instructors can create and manage courses, upload learning materials, prepare assignments and quizzes, and monitor student performance. Students can also track their course progress and view their results through a personalized dashboard. The LMS maintains important information such as student details, course information, learning materials, assignments, quiz results, and progress records in a centralized database. Administrators can manage users, courses, instructors, and system settings through an administrative dashboard. The system can also provide notifications regarding new courses, assignments, quizzes, and other academic activities. Overall, the LMS/Online Learning System provides a convenient, organized, and accessible learning environment that supports education beyond the traditional classroom. It reduces manual academic management, improves communication between students and instructors, and allows learners to study at their own pace.
