Sustainability in the construction sector has gained significant importance due to increasing environmental concerns and resource depletion. Construction materials contribute substantially to energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste generation throughout their life cycle. This paper presents a comprehensive assessment of the sustainability performance of construction materials using a life cycle approach. The study evaluates environmental impacts from material extraction to end-of-life stages. Key indicators such as energy consumption, carbon emissions, and resource usage are analyzed. A comparative evaluation of conventional and sustainable materials is carried out. Life cycle assessment methodology is employed to quantify impacts. The results highlight the benefits of sustainable materials in reducing environmental burden. The findings support informed decision-making in material selection. The study promotes sustainable construction practices. The proposed approach contributes to low-impact and eco-friendly infrastructure development
