xThe rapid expansion of 5G and next-generation wireless networks has necessitated the development of energy-efficient communication protocols to meet both performance and sustainability requirements. High data rates, massive connectivity, and diverse applications of modern networks result in significant energy consumption, which poses economic and environmental challenges. This study proposes an optimized energy-efficient communication protocol framework for 5G and beyond wireless networks, integrating adaptive transmission, resource allocation, and low-power techniques. The proposed approach leverages machine learning-based optimization to dynamically adjust network parameters, reducing energy usage while maintaining quality of service (QoS). Simulation results indicate a substantial improvement in energy efficiency compared to conventional protocols. The methodology demonstrates applicability for IoT, mobile broadband, and smart city deployments. The research contributes to the design of sustainable wireless communication systems with high performance and low energy footprints
