Seismic evaluation of reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures is critical for ensuring structural safety under earthquake loading. Linear analysis methods are often inadequate to capture the actual inelastic behavior of structures during strong ground motions. This study presents a detailed evaluation of the seismic behavior of RC frames using nonlinear static (pushover) and nonlinear dynamic (timehistory) analysis. A multi-storey RC frame is modeled considering material and geometric nonlinearity. Seismic performance parameters such as base shear, storey displacement, interstorey drift, and plastic hinge formation are evaluated. The results from nonlinear static and dynamic analyses are compared to understand structural response under varying seismic demands. The study highlights the effectiveness of performance-based evaluation methods in predicting damage patterns. The findings provide valuable insights for seismic design and retrofitting of RC frame structures in earthquake-prone regions
