The Grievance Portal is a web-based application designed to provide an efficient, transparent, and user-friendly platform for registering, tracking, and resolving complaints raised by users. Traditional grievance handling systems depend heavily on manual paperwork, emails, and physical visits, resulting in delays, lack of transparency, poor accountability, and inefficient record management. This survey paper analyzes the need for digital grievance management systems and explores the technologies, architecture, methodologies, challenges, and future opportunities associated with modern grievance portals. The study focuses on the use of technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, MySQL, JDBC, and Apache Tomcat Server in developing a scalable and secure grievance management system. Furthermore, the paper discusses the limitations of existing systems, advantages of automation, centralized database management, complaint tracking mechanisms, and system security features.
