Abstract

Reliable high-speed data transmission is a fundamental requirement in modern communication systems such as 5G/6G networks, optical fiber links, satellite communications, and high-speed wired networks. As data rates increase, communication channels become more susceptible to noise, interference, and signal distortion, leading to higher bit error rates. Error control coding (ECC) techniques play a crucial role in detecting and correcting transmission errors without requiring retransmission. This paper presents an analysis of widely used error control coding strategies for achieving reliable high-speed data transmission. The performance of different coding schemes is evaluated in terms of error correction capability, bandwidth efficiency, and computational complexity. The study highlights the suitability of advanced coding techniques for next-generation high-speed communication systems
