Publication Ethics & Policies
The International Journal of AI, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering (IJAIECME) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring the integrity of the research published. The journal follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all stakeholders—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—to adhere to ethical practices in all stages of publication.
1. Responsibilities of Authors
- Authors must submit original, unpublished work that has not been submitted to any other journal or conference.
- Proper citations and acknowledgments must be given for ideas, data, figures, or text taken from other sources.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate submission is strictly prohibited.
- All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and approved the final version of the manuscript.
- Conflicts of interest (financial, academic, or personal) must be disclosed during submission.
2. Responsibilities of Editors
- Editors must ensure fair, impartial, and timely review of submitted manuscripts.
- Decisions should be based solely on the academic merit and relevance of the work, without discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, or institutional affiliation.
- Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and not use unpublished work for personal advantage.
- Any suspected misconduct (plagiarism, unethical research) must be investigated and acted upon in accordance with COPE guidelines.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and confidentially.
- Reviews should provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.
- Reviewers must not exploit or share unpublished content for personal research or gain.
- Any conflict of interest (professional, financial, or personal) must be declared, and the reviewer should decline the review if necessary.
4. Research Integrity and Misconduct
- Plagiarism: Manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection tools, and submissions with high similarity will be rejected.
- Data Fabrication/Falsification: Manipulated or fraudulent data will result in rejection or retraction.
- Redundant/Duplicate Publication: Articles previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere will not be accepted.
- Retractions/Corrections: In cases of proven misconduct or major errors, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern.
5. Open Access Policy
IJAIECME is an open-access journal, ensuring that published articles are freely accessible to the global research community without subscription or access fees. Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons License , allowing non-commercial sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.
6. Conflict of Interest Policy
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their work or judgment.
7. Ethical Compliance in Research
- Authors must ensure their research complies with relevant ethical standards (e.g., human/animal studies, data privacy, safety protocols).
- Appropriate approvals from institutional review boards (IRBs) or ethics committees must be obtained where applicable.
