Abstract

This project presents the design and development of a full-stack food delivery platform that enables users to browse restaurants, place orders, and track deliveries seamlessly. The system is built using modern web technologies, integrating a responsive frontend with a robust backend and a scalable database. The frontend is developed using frameworks like React or Angular to provide an intuitive and user-friendly interface, while the backend is implemented using Node.js or Django to handle business logic, authentication, and order management. The platform allows users to create accounts, explore menus, add items to a cart, and make secure online payments. It also provides real-time order tracking and notifications to enhance user experience. Restaurant partners can manage their menus, update item availability, and track incoming orders through a dedicated dashboard. Additionally, an admin panel is included to oversee platform operations, manage users, and analyze performance metrics. The database, designed using technologies such as MongoDB or MySQL, ensures efficient storage and retrieval of user data, orders, and transaction records. APIs are used to enable smooth communication between the frontend and backend components. This project emphasizes scalability, security, and performance, making it suitable for realworld applications. It demonstrates practical implementation of full- stack development concepts, including RESTful APIs, authentication, and responsive design. Overall, the food delivery platform provides a comprehensive solution that enhances convenience for users while supporting business growth for restaurant partners.
