Author Guidelines

The International Journal of AI EBioMedicine Innovations (IJ-AIEBI) welcomes high-quality, original research and review articles in the fields of artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, digital health, and related innovations. Authors are advised to carefully follow these guidelines to ensure smooth submission and review.

 

1. Manuscript Types

The journal accepts the following categories:

  • Original Research Articles (full-length reports of novel findings)
  • Review Articles (comprehensive analyses of recent progress in a field)
  • Short Communications (brief reports of significant findings)
  • Case Studies/Case Reports (applications of AI/biomedical innovation in practice)
  • Technical Notes / Methods Papers (new models, tools, algorithms, or protocols)
  • Editorials & Perspectives (invited or submitted opinion pieces on emerging topics)

 

2. Manuscript Preparation

General Format

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX) or LaTeX (with PDF).
  • Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, with margins of 1 inch.
  • Pages should be numbered consecutively.

Structure of Articles

  1. Title Page
    • Title (concise and informative)
    • Author names and affiliations
    • Corresponding author contact details (email, ORCID if available)
  2. Abstract
    • Maximum 250 words, structured into Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
    • Include 3–6 keywords for indexing.
  3. Main Text
    • Introduction – Background, significance, and objectives.
    • Materials and Methods – Detailed description of study design, datasets, algorithms, tools, or experiments.
    • Results – Clear presentation of findings, with figures/tables.
    • Discussion – Interpretation, implications, and limitations.
    • Conclusion – Key outcomes and potential future directions.
  4. References
    • Use APA 7th edition (or Vancouver style if preferred by journal policy).
    • Ensure proper citation of all sources.
  5. Figures & Tables
    • Submit as high-resolution files (JPEG/PNG/TIFF).
    • Each must have a descriptive caption.
    • Cite all figures/tables in the text.
  6. Acknowledgments (if any)

3. Ethical Considerations

  • Studies involving humans or animals must provide ethical approval
  • Clinical trials should include a registration number from a recognized registry.
  • All authors must follow the journal’s Publication Ethics policy.

 

4. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal’s online submission system (or email if applicable).
  • Each submission must include:
    • Cover letter (summarizing novelty and relevance)
    • Manuscript file
    • Figures and supplementary materials (if any)

 

5. Peer Review

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review.
  • Authors may suggest potential reviewers but final selection rests with the editors.
  • Review outcomes may be: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

 

6. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
