Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) has emerged as a transformative technology in the construction industry, enabling efficient planning, coordination, and control of projects. Traditional project management approaches often suffer from poor information integration, schedule delays, and cost overruns. This paper proposes an integrated BIM-based framework to enhance construction project planning and control through centralized data management and real-time collaboration. The framework incorporates 3D modeling, 4D scheduling, and 5D cost estimation to improve decisionmaking accuracy. Risk identification and progress monitoring are achieved using BIMbased visualization and simulation techniques. The proposed approach enhances communication among stakeholders and minimizes construction conflicts. Experimental validation demonstrates improved project efficiency, reduced rework, and enhanced schedule reliability. The results indicate that BIM integration significantly improves construction project performance and control.
