Abstract

In modern years, India has eye-witnessed an strengthen number of flare-ups of infectious diseases over the country. Diseases like cholera, malaria, dengue, chikungunya, filariasis, kala-azar have been aboriginal in India for an extended period. Climate change is an anomalous worldwide threat. This study aims to focus on understanding the impact of climate change on infectious disease and importance of adaptation mitigation strategies. Climate shift is growingly identified as a hazardous operator in the appearance, diffusion, and spread of infectious diseases. Proliferating warmer temperatures, change precipitation form, and greatest weather episode influence the bio-ecology of illness carrier, microbes, and hosts. Warmer temperature can expand the variety and action of species such as mosquitoes and parasite, accelerate the spread of vector-borne diseases like malaria, dengue, tick-borne disease, and chikungunya in earlier uninfluenced domain. Moreover, climate-incite living shift and environment disruption may expand contact between person and pathogens. So, this is very crucial to understand these critical, multifaceted correlation for initiate powerful community health and wellness adaptation strategies and boosting inspection set-up to reduce disease burden and improve community health outcomes.
