Mergers and Acquisitions as Catalysts of Globalisation: A Review of the Literature

Abstract

In this paper, past research studies on Mergers and Acquisitions’ (M&As) are reviewed around the world. This paper contains two parts viz., Financial performance of firms and mergers effect on shareholders wealth has been summed up by identifying the gap in the literature to be fulfilled it by this study.
