The increasing demand for energy-efficient buildings has intensified interest in passive cooling techniques, particularly the use of phase change materials (PCMs). PCMs have the ability to store and release large amounts of latent heat during phase transitions, making them suitable for thermal regulation in buildings. This research investigates the thermal performance of PCMs integrated into building cooling systems. The study evaluates temperature regulation, heat storage capacity, and indoor thermal comfort improvements achieved through PCM incorporation. An experimental approach is adopted using selected PCMs with suitable melting temperatures for building applications. Temperature variation, heat flux, and energy savings are analyzed under controlled conditions. The results demonstrate that PCMenhanced systems significantly reduce indoor temperature fluctuations and cooling loads. The findings highlight the potential of PCMs in improving building energy efficiency. This research supports sustainable building design and reduced dependency on conventional cooling systems.
